Brentwood, TN – One Injured When Car Collides With Tractor-Trailer Near Old Hickory Blvd 

Brentwood, TN (April 16, 2021) – One woman sustained injuries when a car in which she was a passenger crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer parked on the side of Interstate 65 in the area of Old Hickory Boulevard in Brentwood on Thursday, April 15th.

Reports show that, at about 8:45 p.m., a vehicle carrying two passengers was heading southbound on Interstate 65 when it collided with a tractor-trailer that was parked on the shoulder. 

One female passenger was transported via ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for emergency medical treatment.

No one else was injured during the accident.

The southbound lanes were reopened on Friday at about 3:00 a.m.

Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
