Campbell Co, TN – Three Injured During 11 Car Pile-Up on I-75

Campbell Co, TN (February 19, 2021) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to reports of two multi-vehicle accidents that occurred within moments of each other in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Jellico on Thursday, February 18th.

Police reports show that the initial collision took place when one vehicle reduced its speed due to fog and heavy traffic on the interstate causing six of the vehicle behind it to crash into one another.   

The second accident involving four more vehicles followed just a minute later when two cars collided with two more cars that were stopped because of the leading accident.   

At least three victims were injured during the 11 car pile-up. 

The scene of the accident was closed down for several hours as police officers and emergency responders worked the crash site. 

This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
