Elizabethton, TN – Two Injured During Head-On Crash on Hwy 67Tennessee Legal News
Elizabethton, TN (March 20, 2021) – Multiple agencies were dispatched to the scene of a wreck on Highway 67 in the area of the Milligan Highway overpass on Saturday, March 20th.
Officials stated that a vehicle was heading northbound when the driver lost control, crossed the median into oncoming traffic, and struck a tree head-on. The car then overturned on the side of an embankment and caught on fire.
According to the Elizabethton Fire Department, two people were injured during the single-vehicle accident. Both were transported to the hospital, one in serious condition and the other with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into this accident.
