Greeneville, TN – Amanda Sayler Killed, One Airlifted Following Crash on Doc Hawkins RdTennessee Legal News
Greeneville, TN (July 12, 2021) – The driver of a vehicle was killed in a collision with a Greene County mowing tractor at about 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 12th in the 300 block of Doc Hawkins Road.
The victim, who has since been identified as 37-year-old Amanda Sayler, was killed on impact. A 16-year-old passenger in her car sustained undisclosed injuries.
The tractor operator, Jeffrey Brown, 55, a resident of Afton, also received injuries. Brown and the juvenile were both to a local hospital.
One was airlifted to Johnson City Medical Center. Their current conditions have not been made available.
Reports show that Sayler was traveling eastbound in a 2005 Nissan Altima when she lost control of the vehicle and collided with a westbound Kubota tractor driven by Brown on the passenger side.
