Knoxville, TN – Multiple Rescue Agencies Respond to Injury Crash Near Emory RdTennessee Legal News
Knoxville, TN (April 06, 2021) – Multiple rescue agencies reported to the scene of an injury crash in Knoxville on Tuesday, April 6th that resulted in the closure of that area of the interstate and one victim being taken to a hospital.
Officials from Rural Metro Fire stated that, at about 6:05 p.m., Knox County Rescue, Rural Metro Fire, Knoxville Fire, and AMR all responded to a single accident in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in the area of Emory Road.
One of the vehicle occupants was thrown from the vehicle and was transported via ambulance to a nearby trauma center in critical condition.
I-75 Southbound was closed for over an hour for road clean-up and investigation.
