Car Accident Injuries in Knoxville
Putting off seeing a doctor or an attorney can have a detrimental impact on your Tennessee personal injury case. If you delay seeing a physician, defense attorneys and the insurance carrier will not miss the opportunity to argue that you are faking the severity of your injury or that it was caused by something that happened in the interim.
Taking your time to seek a medical opinion on your post-crash condition provides opposing counsel with the foothold they need to allege that had you really been injured, you would have gone to a doctor right away. Don’t give them this advantage. It is always in your best medical and legal interest to go to the emergency room or make an appointment with your GP following any kind of accident even if you think you’ve escaped injury.
