Wrongful Deaths in Murfreesboro
Under Tennessee law, the family of passengers who are killed during car, truck, motorcycle, and bus accidents might be entitled to financial compensation. It is imperative that surviving family members retain an attorney who knows the most effective ways to successfully solicit all appropriate and available sources of economic recovery.
The surviving family members of a deceased passenger are allowed to bring a claim against the driver of the vehicle. According to Tennessee driving law, a vehicle’s passenger cannot be legally liable for the negligence that caused the accident. For instance, if the driver is acting recklessly by texting or watching videos while their passenger is asleep, and the driver’s inattention results in an accident, the passenger’s family is most likely entitled to file a claim and seek financial compensation against the driver.
