Workplace Accidents in Roane County
The major benefit of a personal injury lawsuit is that it entitles victims to compensation for pain and suffering, something not available under a simple worker’s compensation case. With a personal injury claim, victims may seek financial recovery for all of the damages they have sustained, including things such as lost wages, diminished earning capacity, medical costs, anticipated medical costs, lifelong disability, pain and suffering, and hedonic damages (decreased quality of life), and many other things as well.
The benefits available through Tennessee worker’s compensation, which, at its core, is nothing more than an agreement between labor and business owners, are extremely limited.
